2020 SUMMER PROGRAM

Registration open now!

Read below for summer program info and registration

The MOVE summer program is a five day long summer program like no other. The program is run by a group of experienced and passionate women, many of them who were once students of MOVE! We aim to create a fun, inclusive environment for girls to develop leadership skills, gain confidence, and learn tools to navigate and thrive in difficult situations. Click through the banner below to learn more about some of the topics we cover.

Self confidence

The unrealistic beauty standard is taking a toll on young girls. According to studies, 72% of girls feel an overwhelming pressure to be beautiful. This correlates directly to the concerning rising numbers of eating disorders affecting young women. At the summer program, we open up a candid conversation about this issue. We teach girls that their value is not defined by their looks, and they are beautiful regardless of size or shape. Girls will walk away with tools and advice on how to build their self confidence and view themselves in a more positive light.

At a survey given after a MOVE summer program, 92% of campers said they felt beautiful.
